Welcome to Almanac, a product of Mijo App Labs ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

The service

Almanac is a mentorship tool for parents and caregivers. It offers suggestions and a way to record your own reflections and memories about your child's development. It is not medical, psychological, developmental, or professional advice, and it is not a diagnostic tool. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional for concerns about your child.

Your account

• You must be an adult and legally able to enter this agreement.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• The content you create (children's profiles, notes, photos) is yours. You are responsible for having the right to add it.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, access other accounts, or use it unlawfully.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display it back to you so the app can function.

Subscription

Almanac is offered as an auto-renewable annual subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and your subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Features may change over time.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any suggestions or content will meet your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mijo App Labs and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time in Settings › Account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Okaloosa County, Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
